Auxiliary History
The Newportville Fire Company Auxiliary
was formed in 1947. We Stand Strong at approximately 30 members. 11 of our members have over 20 years of active service. 6
of our members are over 70 years young and extremely active. Over the years we have accomplished many great things with the
help and support of our members and the Fire Company members.
We are very fortunate and take
great pride in being an integral part of the Newportville Fire Company, and to stand along side of the men and women who so
bravely make sacrifices every day for thier community.
Our goal is to help provide funds
to the Fire Company for things such as improvements to our station and equiptment needed to make our firefighters safer. This
is accomplished by holding fundraisers and annual events for which we get the Fire Companys' full support. We also look forward
to getting our community involved whenever possible.
We meet the First Monday of each month
at 7:00PM and are always looking for new members who are willing to give thier time and fresh ideas to our organization. If
